Chidambaram Nataraj Temple

The Roof of the Chidambaram Siva Temple, composed of 21,600 gold tiles and 72,000 nails, representing the breaths a human takes daily, and the nadis in the subtle human anatomy.	The gopuram at the main entrance to the Chidambaram compound.	First sight of the Dakshineswar Temple compound. called the Siva Ganga.
Atma Jyoti monks after having sponsored worship of the sphetika (crystal) linga dedicated by Adi Shankaracharya, together with a remarkable sannyasi named Sivaswami who resides near the Temple.	Swami Satyananda with Umanath and Kedarnath Dikshitar who were our gracious hosts at Chidambaram, members of the priestly clan who own and run the Temple.
